What People Say:

"Thanks for today's session. Your approach felt so gentle, so tender, and at the same time, so minimal. It was clear to me that I was not only in good hands, but working with someone who's spent years and years refining her craft. It was just what I needed. I feel taken care of, excited and interested in going deeper. What I appreciate most is how respectful the process is of the ever-changing landscape of feelings. Thank you.”
– Betsy Sansby, MS, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist www.betsysansby.com

“I would also like to thank you for your fantastic book The Power of Focusing. It has made such a difference to me. I feel I have now found the key to begin the journey I have needed to make all my life. I find Focusing such a powerful yet gentle and compassionate process – so thank you for your clear and kindly approach.”
– Manjudeva, London

Course Title: Introduction to Focusing

10 hours of approved Continuing Education Credit

Do you have clients faced with:
a harsh inner critic
difficulty setting boundaries
resistance to self-awareness
low self-esteem
addictions
action blocks
trauma, PTSD
overwhelming emotion
trouble accessing emotion
stress
chronic pain
difficulty sustaining relationships

Research has shown that using the Focusing process to guide clients into a gentle, accepting inner attention allows them to experience shifts in how an issue is held. When the client can accurately symbolize their concrete bodily felt experience, and be heard, there are noticeable bodily changes that lead to changes in behavior and understanding.

Just for reading The Power of Focusing and having a helpful Focusing session with its author, Ann Weiser Cornell... you can earn 10 hours of continuing education credit at home!

Learn about Focusing, a powerful and effective way to help your clients access deep levels of process, bypass intellectualization, avoid overwhelming emotion and go directly to the source of change. The Focusing process has been shown to correlate with positive life change, increased self-esteem, and a greater ability to live in the present. Body-oriented methods have been gaining steadily in acceptance and popularity, and Focusing is the ultimate in body-oriented, non-touch therapeutic work.

You can learn about Focusing “painlessly” – and earn CE credits – by reading this short, interesting book (only 113 pages) and having a guided Focusing session of your own. In this session, you can work on any area of your life, and very possibly experience insight and transformation. It’s like giving a precious gift to yourself. After you read the book and have the session, you’ll fill out an Evaluation of Learning and receive your CE certificate.

Ann Weiser Cornell has been acclaimed as the premier teacher of Focusing. Learn more about Ann here. Her book, The Power of Focusing: A Practical Guide to Emotional Self-Healing, has drawn worldwide praise for its simplicity and clarity, making this remarkable process accessible to anyone. Learn more about the book here.

We’ll send you the book, The Power of Focusing, and we’ll schedule a 75-minute session for you (in person or by phone) with Ann Weiser Cornell. Learn more about Ann's sessions here.
