The Focusing Student’s & Companion’s Manual

What People Say

"I really want to congratulate and thank you and Barbara for the new student manual. ...It is beautifully done. It feels so thorough and whole – I REALLY love it!!! It both resonates with and supports where I am now with my Focusing... I will be ordering them for my classes in the near future.” —
– Cathy Pascal, LCSW, Focusing Trainer, Chapel Hill, NC

“I love these manuals – they are so clear. Because they are so solid, I feel like I can brace myself up against them and can rest assured that they will support me in my endeavor to teach Focusing.”
– Nancy Jane Peirce, Focusing teacher, Maidson, WI

“Yes, the manuals came. They are awesome! They make this so simple! So I am ordering a second set to use to tempt a partner into playing with me!”
– Linda Hedquist, Fairfield, IA

“Focusing is a simple matter of holding a kind of open, non-judging attention to something which is directly experienced but is not yet in words.

Out of this simplicity, many things come.”
– from the Introduction
