| The Power of Focusing, published in 1996, is an easy-to-read, straightforward introduction to how to do Focusing, intended for the general reader. It includes stories of people using Focusing for making decisions, releasing blocks, receiving inner support during illness, and many others |
The Focusing Student’s and Companion’s Manual, Part One, published in 2002, was written by Ann (collaborating with Barbara McGavin) as a practical yet in-depth manual to accompany a first or second level Focusing course. Inner Relationship Focusing teaches around the world use this as the manual for their courses; it has been translated into Dutch and Japanese. It’s intended for use with a workshop or class, but you can buy it directly if you would like. |
The Radical Acceptance of Everything, published in 2005, is an integrated collection of Ann’s writings over the past 20-some years, including four articles written especially for this book and never published before. Each article has a new introduction setting the context for why the article was written and updating new developments. Ann’s style is engaging and personal; her own story with Focusing is woven in, making the writing even more accessible. |
