Fiona Parr

I am a Focusing Practitioner and Teacher, accredited with the British Focusing Teachers Association (BFTA), and a Focusing Institute Trainer. I have a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, teaching adults.

I have facilitated personal development in others and myself for 25 years, and practiced Focusing for 11 years. I have lived at the Findhorn Foundation, which is a spiritual community in Scotland, and I am a certified facilitator of the Transformation Game. Past experience includes dreamwork, gestalt, co-counseling, transpersonal psychology and Reiki. My spiritual life is most important to me, and Focusing supports my spiritual practice.

My general approach to Focusing is as a life skill, to enable people to gain an invaluable resource and support in their lives. I also emphasize the benefits for people who are working with others; practitioners of all kinds, parents, caregivers, teachers, doctors, etc. I offer a Practitioner Training, in conjunction with Barbara McGavin in Bath. It is open to graduates of the Focusing Skills Certificate Course, and is for people who want to continue to develop their Focusing and Companioning skills, and to deepen their practice.
