Releasing Blocks to Action

When we don’t do what we want (or need) to do, that’s what I call an action block.

It's natural and human to procrastinate some of the time. But when those blocks persist, month after month, even year after year, this is painful, and gets in the way of living the life you want to live.

I know. I had serious writer's block. The problem was, all I really wanted was to write! So my friends would hear me moaning, “I want to write! I really do! I just don’t understand why I don’t!”

Feeling how bad I felt about not writing didn’t help me. I had inner critics who attacked me, told me I was lazy, weak, hopeless. That just made me feel lower than low, but no writing came forth.

Then one day, in desperation, I sat down and invited a part of me that didn’t WANT to write. (I figured there must be something like that, even though I wasn’t in touch with it at all.)

The Part the Doesn't Want To

Just one session of listening to “the part that doesn’t want to” brought more ease in writing. A few months later I had a breakthrough session, in which a part of me that didn’t want to write turned around and joined the inner writer. From that moment on, I woke up every morning with the excited feeling: “Oh boy, let's write!”

And I still do. I love to write! And now, nothing’s in the way.

Let me take you through the steps that I used to release my writer’s block, the same process that I’ve refined since then in scores of workshops and hundreds of private sessions with people like you, people who could sense their potential for transformation on the other side of that block.

The Five-Week Phone Course on Releasing Blocks to Action

In this highly experiential phone course you will learn a series of moves designed to release the dynamic that holds the action block in place.

This includes transforming the inner critic and learning how to listen nonjudgmentaly to the action block.

You’ll probably find that the part of you that doesn’t want to do the action has a good reason for blocking you – and when that is heard compassionately, the blocked flow gets moving again, often in surprising ways. You may find you have gifts in surprising places! And you may find that what you thought you wanted was merely a compromise solution, and what you can really have is much bigger.

You will receive a workbook containing all the exercises that we will do, so that you can take them home and repeat them whenever you need to, with any blocked area of your life. And you will be with other people dealing with similar issues, so you can exchange inspiration and support.

Prerequisite: You must have had at least one individual session with Ann Weiser Cornell or Lucinda Hayden prior to attending this workshop. Your individual session can be on the topic of your block, and may well be the first step of the change you are seeking.

Premium Package: Simultaneous to taking the phone course with Ann Weiser Cornell, have a series of six guided sessions with Lucinda Hayden, one before the course starts and one per week during the course. It’s an ideal way to integrate the material and make deep progress.
