Inner Relationship Focusing Level 1

IRF Level One is the first of four courses in the complete Inner Relationship Focusing Training Program. We teach all our IRF courses by phone seminar. (It’s easy! You just make a phone call at the scheduled time and you’re on the line with a group of no more than 14 people, and the teacher.)

Inner Relationship Focusing is a process at the very heart of what brings true change. If we just talk about our problems, or have our usual emotions about them, we stay stuck. You know how frustrating that feels!

Here’s what happens in Focusing Level One–

• you’ll learn the remarkable ability to be in Presence with your feelings – a way of being with your emotions that can change how you live your life every day
• you’ll learn how to discover your felt senses – rich information about your life that you already know without knowing you know
• you’ll practice a simple but powerful listening process that lets you be supportive of other people – and yourself – in ways that are literally the opposite of interfering and giving advice
• you’ll become more trusting of yourself and your inner wisdom
• your way of being and your process will be respected at every stage – you are learning a natural skill that goes counter to our fast-paced outer directed modern culture, but will feel deeply natural to your body

You will receive a complimentary copy of The Focusing Student’s and Companion’s Manual, Part One, as well as special cue cards to support the exercises we will do. The teaching is a mixture of explanation, demonstration, and practice, with ample opportunity for you to ask questions and get support.

Prerequisite: at least one individual session with an Inner Relationship Focusing teacher. This session prepares you to get the most out of the class. It's recommended to have your session with the teacher of the course. For phone classes with Lucinda Hayden, there is a discount if you pay for a session with Lucinda Hayden at the same time that you register for the class: your first session for just $95, a savings of $55.
