Welcome to Focusing Resources, where our mission is to make it easy for you to learn Focusing and find your path to wholeness.
My name is Ann Weiser Cornell and I've devoted my life to finding better and better ways to give you the empowering skill of Focusing so you can live your life as your whole self.
Focusing is a skill of awareness that makes your life easier and calmer because you become as big as you need to be, while still accepting what you feel. (That's why I called my second book The Radical Acceptance of Everything).
I've been doing Focusing myself for 39 years and I love it. Let me tell you some of the reasons I love Focusing:
Focusing is a process you can learn for yourself… and you can exchange it with friends and family.
Focusing is body-based. You learn to listen to the emotional wisdom of your body. We've become way too cut off from body-knowing… and Focusing teaches us how to get back there again.
Focusing is based on research (by my mentor Eugene Gendlin and others) into successful change. It's not based on any dogma or cult and there's nothing you need to believe. In fact, Focusing is a simple process that is combinable with any other method that you use for self exploration.

Another way is to listen to this 45 minute free phone seminar that I recorded on recently. It includes a Focusing exercise that you can try yourself. (download mp3)
